I, Vivek Bharadwaj, also famously known as DJ Vivek was born on 27th February and I am from Mumbai, India.
I’m a DJ, record producer, and remixer. I did a Professional Certified Course in DJ Mixing & Remixing, on turntables & CD players in 1999 from Azaredo Acoustics, Colaba, Mumbai. In 2014, I did an advanced professional course in Electronic Dance Music Production at True School of Music, Mumbai.
Raúl [raˈul] is what I would like to be professionally known as, now onwards, as the internet is flooded with people with the names, DJ Vivek & Vivek Bharadwaj. Inspiration for this came from Spanish professional footballer Raúl, who’s a big fan I’m. He played as a striker in Real Madrid and is regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.
It’s not how high in life you get that counts……its what sort of drugs you take to get there that matters. But I don’t need chemicals to do that, I’m always riding high on life. I live life to the fullest, regardless of the ups and downs. I prefer to have all my ups and downs of life in bed only. I’ve seen a lot of the world and my no-hassle approach to life is very apparent. As a matter of fact, I can gel with almost any and everybody……anytime.
One of my firm beliefs is that to change anything, one just needs to change one’s attitude. I know that there are very few good people in the world, and if you find one, you should keep one. Love changes, a thug changes, and best friends become strangers…..
As attributed to Pisceans, I’m a great dreamer. My dreams are set, I know where I want to go, and I don’t care what it takes to get there. I got what it takes to succeed and I will.

I have swum Nationals (under 19), representing my school till senior high school level. I have also won many prizes in calligraphy, painting, and drawing. I have learned the art of cooking from my mother and I love to cook. I write. Writing from the past few years especially has been the only support system I’ve had. I think it’s the best way of venting things out. I am a fitness enthusiast and I weight train regularly. As a model, I was featured in print, in Britannia’s Annual Brochure and I also did a Thums Up video advertisement directed by Kunal Kapur with South Indian superstar Chiranjeevi which was shot in Run of Kutch, Gujarat, India. I was shortlisted for a movie called Janasheen in a junior artist role and met famous actor-director Firoz Khan. I couldn’t do the movie because of some reason.
Some more short sentences about me: I excel at people’s skills – really fly, you should see. I can lift more than it looks like I can lift. I like working on my own if there isn’t anyone fun to work with but can also stand the company of people I hold in contempt and am, in this sense, versatile. I can work incredibly long hours, and I am a result, oriented person. I am devilishly handsome and for a lot of people, this is a talking point. I am very dependable, just call my name and I’ll be there. I am good for morale when someone cries I am all sympathetic. I know when to hold and I know when to fold.
